The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency stated it truly is alarmed in regards to the high variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access sassa status SASSA services.
“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure sassa status at Fernie and there is no fully functional office devoted to service the area every day. The services stage developed for intervention encounters a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the servicing of all consumers and boost access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
